Privacy Policy

We believe privacy is a right, not a feature. Here's exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and what we never do with your data.

The short version

  • Your free plan n8n instance runs on Docker with a 1GB memory cap, your workflows and credentials are isolated from other users.
  • Your paid plan n8n instance runs on a dedicated VPS, your workflows and credentials are isolated from other users.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
  • We collect only what's needed to run the service: your email, billing info, and basic usage data.
  • You can request deletion of your account and data at any time in your profile page or by contacting us.

1. Who we are

N8Nme.com is operated by CLSystems (referred to as "we", "us", or "our"). We provide managed n8n hosting services. Our primary place of business is in Europe, and we are subject to applicable EU data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What data we collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve our service.

Account information

Your name, email address, and password (hashed, never stored in plain text). This is required to create and access your account.

Billing information

Payment is processed by our third-party payment providers Stripe or Mollie. We store only a billing reference and your subscription status, we never see or store your full card details.

Usage and technical data

Basic service metrics such as instance health, uptime status, and resource usage (CPU, memory). This data is used to monitor and maintain your VPS. We do not inspect the content of your workflows or executions.

Communication data

Any messages you send to our support team. We retain these to help resolve your issues and improve our service.


3. How we use your data

We use your data only for the purposes listed below. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to delivering the service.

  • - To provision, operate, and maintain your n8n instance
  • - To process payments and manage your subscription
  • - To send you transactional emails (account confirmation, invoices, service alerts)
  • - To respond to support requests
  • - To monitor uptime and apply security patches to your VPS
  • - To comply with legal obligations

4. Data storage and hosting

Free plan instances are hosted in Germany (EU). Paid plan instances are deployed in the region you select at signup, allowing you to keep your data within your preferred jurisdiction.

Your n8n instance (including all workflows, credentials, and execution logs) resides exclusively on a dedicated VPS assigned to your account. This data is not co-mingled with other users' data at the infrastructure level.


5. Data sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only in the following limited circumstances:

  • - Payment processors - to handle subscription billing. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and may not use it for any other purpose.
  • - Infrastructure providers - the VPS hosting companies that physically run your server. They have no access to your application-level data.
  • - Legal requirements - if we are required to disclose data by law, court order, or regulatory authority, we will do so and will notify you where legally permitted.

6. Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies, strictly limited to what is necessary to operate the service.

Session cookie Keeps you logged in during a browser session. Expires when you close your browser.
Auth token Used to remember your login across sessions if you choose "stay logged in". Expires after 30 days.
Preference Stores your UI preferences such as language and theme selection. No personal data.

We use Google Analytics and CLStats (Matomo) to keep track of website usage. Read more about their data policies at their respective websites.


7. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Upon cancellation, you have a 30-day grace period to export your data. After that period, your VPS and its contents are permanently deleted.

Billing records and invoices are retained for 7 years to comply with financial regulations. Support correspondence is retained for 2 years.


8. Your rights

Under GDPR and applicable data protection law, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Right of access

Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.

Right to rectification

Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.

Right to erasure

Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.

Right to portability

Export your workflows and data in a standard, machine-readable format at any time.

Right to object

Object to processing of your data in certain circumstances.

Right to lodge a complaint

File a complaint with your national data protection authority at any time.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed password storage, daily backups, and regular security patching of your VPS.

In the event of a data breach that affects your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours of becoming aware, as required by GDPR.


10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or by a notice on your dashboard before the changes take effect.

Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
